Catiriana “Sparklez” Reyes
Catiriana Reyes, popularly known as Sparklez has been seen as an actor, operatic soprano, DJ, and nightlife personality. She is proud to be a founding member of QCC. Reyes is a Recent graduate of Goddard College with an Individualized Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science and Public Policy. For the past 25 years, she has been a broad-based social justice activist and political organizer working within the intersections of People of Color, LGBTQI-GNC, Women and Labor communities.
Daniel Castillo reynoso
Daniel Castillo Reynoso was born and raised in México City where he still currently lives where he works as an independent video content producer and photographer.
He considers himself a social justice and social inequality advocate; he’s passionate about the power of community and teamwork and believes it’s possible to create a resource economy based on mutual help in opposition to the current market-based economies that run most of the world and that put everyone to compete against each other.
Apart from being a member of QCC he’s also co-founder of “41”, another queer collective based in México City that aims to create safe spaces and a consolidated sense of community among the queer scene in that city through cultural events and community activities.
Andrew Speros
Andrew grew up outside Atlanta, Ga. He currently works as a certified personal trainer, holistic life coach, and body worker in San Francisco empowering others to live their healthiest lives. He brings a passion for wellness and self exploration, a love for food and the outdoors, and believes learning is a never ending process. His experiences as a queer kid in the deep south have helped shape his world view and his personal definition of what it means to be queer. Andrew is currently studying Massage Therapy and Non Violent Communication, he believes in the importance of building empathy and understanding between communities and folks with different life experiences.
Sarah Adler
Sarah Adler is from Boston, Seattle, San Francisco, and most recently from nowhere, as she and her partner live in a converted van looking for new folks to connect with and new experiences to have. Sarah has a background in social work, occupational wellness and fitness, currently working as a remote online strength and behavior change coach. Sarah is committed to using the gift of her queerness to continue learning about authentic love, authentic relationships, and how folks can authentically help each other in community.
Lex White
Lex White lives at the intersection between art and technology. As a writer, he creates fantasy landscapes to serve as both an escape from and a critique of our modern world. His stories are meant to expand perspective by revealing an alternative to the lives we lead that bring so much harm to our global communities, our environment and the human spirit.
As a digital creator, he designs virtual experiences to engage and expand the mind across several different mediums: software applications, audio production and video games. He is an advocate of empathy, education and the decentralization of large corporate and political power structures. And he believes that art and technology working together could be a powerful agent to achieve these positive changes around the world.
Alex Locus
Alex Locust is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and proud biracial "glamputee" spreading the word about social justice, one workshop at a time. Whether on the runway or in a counseling session, Alex aspires to embody the tenets of social justice and fiercely advocates for equity in all community spaces.
Alex is counselor, community organizer, and champion of disability justice. Armed with bombastic charm, whimsical humor, and a sharp wit, Alex synthesizes professional insight with lived experience to create engaging workshops grounded in cultural humility, intersectionality, and fostering empathetic, holistic views of marginalized communities. Alex specializes in work supporting people with disabilities and is passionately committed to raising awareness of the disability justice movement. He hopes to continue facilitating candid dialogues in a broad spectrum of environments in order to promote more cross movement solidarity.
Sanchez Jones
Sancia Jones is a City Research Scientist with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Sancia role is the Outreach Specialist for the Division of Disease Control, and for the Bureau of Tuberculosis control, working in the Outreach Education and Training Department. He has been a broad-based social justice activist for nearly 20 years working at the intersection of race, class, sexuality and health inequities. Jones has a Masters of Public Health from Capella University with a focus on HIV/AIDS in marginalized communities. He has worked in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors and is excited to be bringing his perspective to QCC as a founding member.
